My name is Phil Smith and I have been an entrepreneur for over 10 years.  My career began in the website hosting industry in 1998, starting up We Link You Internet Services. Soon after, We Link You partnered with EZZI.net, a small ISP. After 7 years as roll of Chief Operating Officer, we grew the hosting company to over 5,000 dedicated servers. Plus, we started a VoIP company, a hardware sales division, a consulting services division and had ownership in call centers in India.

After EZZI was sold in 2005, I was recruited to build a new software-as-a-service division for FalconStor Software (NASDAQ:FALC). FalconStor makes storage virtualization software for Fortune 1,000 companies. The business model was to build a hosting division, selling their software on a hosted platform. Within two years, I setup partnerships with IBM Global Services, SAVVIS Networks, HP and Intel.

After my success at FalconStor, I decided to change my focus and provide Internet marketing consulting services to help companies build their online brand. I started this blog to show my expertise and help others in this field. I will talk about my experience in business, Internet marketing and everything between.
